Peter Amylon first moved to Ketchikan in 1995 and currently is the Economic Development and Lands Manager for the Ketchikan Gateway Borough, where he has worked since 2018. He oversees land management, economic development initiatives, and strategic planning to foster economic growth within the Borough. In addition to serving on the Southeast Conference Board of Directors, Peter also serves on the Southeast Alaska Power Agency (SEAPA) Board of Directors and has held board positions with several local nonprofit organizations. He is committed to fostering partnerships that strengthen Southeast Alaska’s communities and economy. Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Alaska Southeast.
