Alaska has an energy policy!! The Governor has now signed both HB 306 and SB 220 into law. This is far-reaching legislation that will provide guidance and direction for many years to come. Special kudos to the House Energy Co-Chairs, who both went out of their way to not only see that good energy policy was created -- they made sure the process was inclusive and thorough. I was privileged to be a part of the working group they convened that met for months prior to the session to work on HB 306 and was also present for the bill signing ceremony this week. Many thanks to all who were a part of this process.
